We're advancing in the development of the most incredible technologies, we're traveling like humanity has never traveled before, we're changing the way we communicate, work, eat and dress. And it's clear that these changes are influencing our behavior, modifying our ways of learning and softly but surely, transforming our lifestyles.

If we take a binary look at global production, we could divide it into two groups: the indispensable and the secondary. Products in the first group are essential for human beings, and are manufactured in large series thanks to robotization and processes that optimize and minimize operations, enabling them to be offered at very attractive prices. Secondary production, on the other hand, takes place in limited or tiny series. Here, prices are higher, because production is less robotized or artisanal, the materials used are rarer, or production takes place in countries where the value of labor is higher.

Have you noticed how, in the space of five years, wallets of all kinds have passed from indispensables (or let’s say widely used products) to the “secondary”? And how quickly another “secondary” product became “indispensable”? I'm talking about the cell phone. One has replaced the other so obviously that continuing to use a wallet today is becoming an outdated, or vintage act.

I have to admit to pay often with my cell phone as well, and I find this type of payment undeniably practical, even fun. However, having a phone doesn't help us to organize the documents we still use in physical form: driving license, ID or passport, nor help us to range bills or coins.

And while we're on the subject, there's another product in the process of moving from the essential to the secondary group: leather. Yes, this magnificent natural material - and let me remind you again that it's an agri-food waste product transformed and embellished by tanners - is leaving popular fashion and heading towards increasing scarcity. But we'll discuss about that in another article.

"OWL-ROBOT', the Luxurious leather cardholder

Here's a little object designed to make you smile and charm as soon as you take it out of your bag! A small zipped card holder named “OWL-ROBOT”, adorned with a leather application representing an Owl Robot. It'll protect everything you entrust to it!

This card holder is designed to hold an ID, a few folded bills and up to four credit cards. Coins can be easily stored in the zipped compartment. Some of our customers also use this compartment to range their business cards or the many loyalty cards they own.

We propose you the Luxurious “OWL-ROBOT” card holder in two versions. The first is in elegant grained French calf leather, known as “grain valise”. The two-tone beige color, medium beige and dark beige, was developed after samples were sent to the tanner. Only slightly larger than the “OWL-ROBOT” cardholder, the Luxurious “MADRID” compact wallet features a full-length metal zipper, giving it extra thickness and storage capacity. The Luxurious “MADRID” constructed from:

• 2 full-length flat pockets

“GEORGE” and “LISE”, The Luxurious zipped checkbook holders in leather

And yes, the use of checkbooks in France is becoming increasingly rare. However, the demand is still there, and we're delighted to offer a zipped checkbook holder that opens complitely, providing easy access and optimum comfort when filling out the check.

One of the flat pockets was designed to fix the back part of the checkbook cover, while the other two pockets are perfect for storing essential documents such as driving licenses, your car registration papers, ID or receipts.
