The Luxury “CITY” Tote with Metal Hand Embroidery is a re-edition of our MASHA KEJA 24H “CITY” handbag created in 2009. This new, smaller version is perfect for everyday use and can fit your working documents and laptop, accommodate your yoga clothes, or simply accompany you on your busy day as a roomy zipped tote. This Luxury version of our “CITY” is embellished with intricately crafted Metal Hand Embroidery, called “cannetille”, on a lambskin leather base. Cannetille embroidery is a highly skilled, historic technique created exclusively by hand using fine metal wires, which are cut to size and meticulously placed one by one to create a sumptuous three-dimensional pattern. To accentuate the beauty of this craftsmanship, the embroidered lambskin is also applied onto our bags solely by hand. The Luxury “CITY” Tote with Metal Hand Embroidery is crafted from full grain leather and trimmed with smooth calf. The lining is cotton twill. A rear, external zipped pocket is ideal for mobile storage, and the inside pocket can be used for any other small items. The removable shoulder strap allows you to carry the bag cross-body or on a shoulder. Designed in Paris, made in Spain. Delivered in a MASHA KEJA dust bag.
To craft the Luxury “CITY” Tote with Metal Hand Embroidery, we chose the finest smooth and full grain calf leathers from a renowned Spanish tannery. The base and corners of the bag are reinforced with smooth black leather parts. When signs of use appear, we suggest applying a black tinting cream to conceal the marks, and so prolong the youth of your bag. To optimize your bag’s life, treat your Luxury “CITY” Tote once a year with a nourishing cream for leather. When not in use, store your bag in a MASHA KEJA dust bag.
