AVA

Charming, elegant clutch “AVA” was created in souvenir of Ava Gardner. It can be carried in two ways: elegant – under the arm, or classic – on the shoulder, with chaine handle. The “body” is realized in calfleather, the back compartment the flap are made of gentle lambskin leather, embroidered by hands in “cannetille” technique. Satin with cashmere print is used for the lining. There is a zipper pocket inside of main compartment. Clutch "AVA" delivered with remouvable chaine handle and tassel. Designed and manufactured in France.

The ornament used for embroideries represents a mystic animal, a mix of Russian Imperial eagle and butterfly, as a sign of strength and feminity, beauty. Realized with very thin metal springs, according to the ancestral technique of the XVI c., “cannetille” embroideries are completely handmade. Very popular in Europe and Russia in XVIII-XIX c. “cannetille” was used to decorate clothes and accessories. Disappeared with time, it is used today only as ornamentation in military costumes….
